steel spur gear set??ratio

i bought a robinson racing gear set steel 16-48 but i was just thinking that the stock is 15-49 so if your giving one tooth on the bell and taking away one on the spur is'nt this the same?i think the final gear ratio will be around the same?what you guys think?

Its more like 3:1
3 on the spurr = 1 on the bell.
This is just a ball park figure but is much more accurate than 1:1

what is the stock set up?

i think I'm wrong on this now that i think about it larger bell,smaller spur so its going to have more top end speed right? damn i just put the 16tooth bell on and stripped out the stock spur in 30 seconds and i meshed it right.
