hi there, i need some info on starterboxes 4 hyper 7tq black, asmy pullstart broke.looking at getting a starterbox, but not sure on how to go about changing it over to one, what do i need to do, besides on buying a starterbox, and how to set it up. thanks.

Its very simple...if your string on the pull start snapped, you can leave the essembley on the engine or you can buy the block off plate for the engine which will make it prettier but at the same time your starter box wull be the only way to start it.

I personally run a pull start and a starter box on all my cars. When I need tuning and the car keeps shutting off on me I use the starter box so I don't keep stress on the pull start by constantly yanking on. When my cars are perfectly tuned (or yours) it should start up by the 3rd or so pull. A pull start should last you a long time as long as you know how to use it properly.

Personal opinion...replace the pull start it should be between 15 and 20 bucks but do buy a starter box for the days where your car is giving you problems starting.

As for setting up the starter box, if you. Buy it brand new it'll come with instructions. Its a simple setup.

I would recommend taking your pull start out and putting a back plate on your engine. You will lose unnecessary weight and there is no reason to have two methods to start your buggy.

Any 1/8 scale buggy starter box will work for your Hyper. I would look for one at amain hobbies or Ofna.

thanks for the quick reply,i will get on to it straight away, and thanks again.
