OK so i recently purchased a used savage x rtr with a f4.6 motor. When i go to start the motor it turns over an does nothing. I have gotten it to start 3 times total but every time it dies within 30 secs. I have noticed some fuel spinning off of the flywheel sumtimes is this normal? i dont no wut to do? O i have also taken the motor apart down to see the condition of the piston and inner head and i can see some pitting on the outside of the piston very little tho. any help is appreciated thanx.

Start by returning your needles to factory position. It's only for break in, since it will be set rich, but you need a reference point to tune from.

Look through this thread and it should help you get going. If you still have problems, let us know.

ok so i did... Start out with a full charge (overnight) on your ignitor, then install a new glow plug. Save the old one, you can use it later when it's tuned right.
Take off the air cleaner and look inside the carb. Don't try to start it yet, but turn on the radio and Rx. Turn the trim knob down to zero, then hold the trigger in maximum brake position and manually adjust the idle screw till you have an opening of 1-2 mm, or close to 1/16".
Prime the engine by plugging the exhaust while cranking it till fuel reaches the carb. Reinstall the air filter and start it normally and let me know what it does.

but still it wont start? i checkd the glow plug its bright orange. no bubbles in the fuel line and i primered it like in the link. the motor isnt flooded. whats up with the fuel spinning off the flywheel any idea on that?

Sounds like a shot bearing. You need to take care of it.
If your LSN is set flush with the ring, lean it 1/8 of a turn, then try to start it again.

Definitely a bad front bearing. Tear the engine down. Then take the piston and sleeve and see if you can push the piston up past the top of the sleeve. If you can it's worn out, don't bother. Buy a new engine.
If you can't push the piston all the way up, then a set of bearings will get you going.
A 7X19X6mm double rubber shielded front bearing is what you need. any brand will do. My LHS usually stocks Mach .26 front bearings, they work great and will fit no problem.
