Hi,
I'm new to nitro vehicles and I have an HPI savage which I have tried three different engines, one ran for a little bit but ended up having my 21 bb engine pinched. So now I have good compression, a clean carb and needles set to factory settings. I still cannot get the engine to start. I have pluged the exhaust to prime the fuel line but it doesn't send fuel to the carb? Could it be something with the exhaust? Please help, I'm about to say the heck with nitro rc.

Did you check all fuel lines?
Did you also check if the O ring int the cap of the fuel tank is still there?
Is the header from the exaust still hooked with the spring on the engine?
Can you post pictures of it?

And dont give up yet man, once you get to know ur trucks, its hard to keep my hands off of them...

The fuel lines are good and there's an o ring on tank lid. I am going to replace the seals on the engine to header with a new spring and the hose from header to exhaust is a little shabbie to.

I will post pics soon
Thanks

Another thing you can do is pressure test the fuel tank. Use two fuel lines for the supply and air nipples, put it under water and blow in each line to see if air comes out of the tank. If the tank leaks then you need to replace it, if the tank is good to go then you need to run some fuel thru it to make sure you get any water out that might have gotten in.

Well I was able to get it started and it ran for about 15 sec.
when i get it running and try to throttle it up or brake it immeditely dies, and now I can't get it to start(I think I need a new glow plug) I need help please, also how long do glowplugs last?
Thanks for any help
