I was wondering if anyone is using any kind of roto starter or shaft style starter on their Picco 26? I tried the TIGER DRIVE S682 and it didn't fit. it hit the control arm. Is there another one I can use?

The Hot Bodies Jump Start should fit (its a roto start). I just got one. Haven't installed it but the back plate looks like it should clear. I've heard from others the Tiger Drive doesn't fit.

Look for the Hot Bodies starter on ebay. I got mine with starter, shaft and backplate for $30.

have you tried it yet? Does that work with a drill?

The roto start for a F4.1 will fit, you just need a hex spacer like a wheel hex from an rs4 or the like.

I didn't put my roto start on, but it definitely fits. Dimensionally it is identical to the Picco/Traxxas pull starter back plate. Its even thinner than the Picco pull starter. You'll have more clearance between this backplate and the a-arm than with the ez-start or pull start (I've done both).

Hot Bodies sells this for the "TRX 2.5" - but it fits all Traxxas motors and the Picco.

The shaft it comes with can be used with any drill. The drill end is the basic drill-bit hex shape.

I think I'm gonna try that. Thanks for your help!
