starter Box?

I would honestly go for a single high torque motor instead of the 2 motors. I've seen a few people try to start with the double motors and give up. I tried the double motor set up that you posted at my LHS (when I was still learning how to use a bump box) and the torque differenc was felt. I prefer the single. OFNA makes a good box, XTM makes a nice one also (both with power panels). What I use is a Dynamite High Torque starter box. No probs with my box. It just doesn't have a power panel. Really don't need one anyway. That's what the glow starter is for.

well what kinda car ? 1/8 scale i would go single , 1/10 scale u can get away with dual motors (u can too 1/8 scale) but the single 12 isnt much more

It is for my r/c 10 GT. I have to ask if I do get this one.Can I upgrade it to a single moter later?:marshall:

just get the single high torque motor. There's no difference in price. $69.99

Tower hobbies

just get the single high torque motor. There's not much of a difference in price.

I use one of the versions of Ofna's True Start boxes. Same as slothy's recomendation but with the glow plug ignitor panel option that I don't use. Get the single motor with a good battery. It turns over my big block and anything else that it comes in contact with.

I use that cheep one for my gt and mst1 it never let me down

But if I was going to buy a new one I'd get this one in stead
Just because it's easier to have the chassis in the perfect spot while starting

For 10th scale trucks/cars only

ONLY $65 @ TOWER, the price has really droped on these, last year they were close to $90

True, But you'll only have to buy one Starter box

It's just too bad you couldn't use a starter box for a MT.................wouldn't that be sweet.

I use the same starter box for my Dominator and my hyper7
The new GS SUT can be started with a box too
Pull starters are for the birds

It's all about the loss of power with the pull starter.
