I just recently purchased 2 savage 25. the previous owner barely broke them in and they have been sitting for quite a while I'm having problems Geting them started. Am I going to need to open the engine up and give them a good clean. Not sure any help would be much appreciated.

First thing you should do is replace the plugs and reset the needles back to the factory settings.

It will be a good idea to replace the fuel lines as well.

thanks man i changed up as much of that stuff as I Could I also sprayed a little bit of wd40 in the carb and when i took out the glow plug seemed to loosen things up fairly well

if the pull start gets hard to pull when u run it after running it in it means it has fuel lock so take the glo plug out turn the car upside down and pull the pull start it works really well and if ur not going to drive it in ages u should use after run it works great and also if u have any corrosion use it on that it is a gem of a thing it gets rid of everything and anything.
