Maxx acts like it SUXX. I got it running, I gave the trigger a little juice, and I had it running for a bit, did a couple of passes in front of my house, pulled it into the garage, and it died. Now I can't start it. Factory settings and all hsn, lsn, idle set wherever, and I still can't start it..> Tried fresh fuel. Somebody have a solution? Please? It's still sort of light out!!!

oh yeah, fresh glow plugs too. 2 of them! What is WRONG?

How cold is it were you are, you might want to check for leaks,

dbl check for compression,
and air leaks turn thje motor over with your finger and listen for a hiss when it gets to the compression side ,do it slow thn you might beable to hear if there is a hiss and if so then theres a airleak or bad head gasket.
just my :2cents:

Just to follow up:

I took my Tmaxx out the other day in the driveway and told it that I was the boss and that it was going to start no matter what. It argued with me a lot. I decided the engine was flooding because it kept locking up. It would start up, run for a bit, then choke and die, and then not start again. I'd pull out the glow plug, put in the easy starter, and turn it over a few times, then put the plug back in and try to start it up. Once again, run, die, unable to start. So I just kept pulling out the glow plug, clearing the engine, then LEANING the HSN and trying again. Repeated this about 8 times it seems, and eventually, the truck started up. I ran it around, then fooled with the lsn and the idle speed. It now runs GREAT until I hit that pole, but i have an extra lower A-arm to replace it so I am off to the races (so to speak).

My message to anyone having trouble starting thier Maxx - DON'T GIVE UP. You are its boss. Just go to factory settings and go from there. If it keeps locking up, lean it out. If that doesn't work, go back to factory settings and try again. Just keep at it, it will eventually listen to you. Thanks to all who gave thier two cents.
