i went to a park to do some offroading with my friend and my new tmaxx.......i tugged on the pull start and it was only turning the engine over the first 5 inches of the pull.......and then the string came out without anythign......i tried about 1000 times but everytime i pulled the chord it would only turn over the engine the first half a foot of the pull, and the engine wouldnt start...........whats wrong?

is ur bearing old or dirty? that would cause it to slip. the bearing is major item to look at in this case i think

Is it jammed after the first 5 in or is it slipping because if it is slipping it is your one way bearing in the pull start. Also bashmaster the bearing can't be old because he said his t-maxx is new.

thanks guys after i heated the engine up with a hairdryr and a few minutes of tuggin i got it to start and after the first tank the pull start works fine...thanks once again
