That's the slipper clutch, it looks like you will need a new spur gear along with the friction pegs. I like to run all of the pegs, other people prefer to run a peg in every other hole. When you replace it tighten the nut all the way down and then back it of 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn.

so basicly a whole new slipper clutch and how can i keep from burning it out i don't wanna sped 15 bucks everyday for one lol

Your slipper clutch is probably still good, just the spur gear and friction pegs. You have to keep the slipper tight but not too tight, if it's too loose it will melt the spur gear and if it's too tight you could damage your trans or axles.

ahh okay i got ya the
spur gear is the plastic thing right the clutch is the metal peice thanks for the help

Here, click on exploded views and it will give you the break down for your truck (as long as it's a Stampede).

A little removable locktite on the nut will keep it from backing off. The gear is melted from the slipper slipping excessively.

i took it all out to day and yeah the spur and clutch is pretty bad the clutch has harden melted plastic on it :D I'm looking to invest a lil bit of money in to this clutch and spur gear what is the best to get does this clutch have affect on power and tor?? i really dont want steel spurs..
