wondering if anyone has info on ether? just what to know what the differences are besides the price. right now i have a losi 8t 1.0 . not really wanting to get anther losi . really wanting a kit . not a roller . any info will be help full Thanks

The Kyosho St-RR is a good truck but it's a bit brittle. It needs quite a few upgrades to get it sturdy enough to be reliable. The D8T is built like a tank, and is a good performer.
Personally I'd buy a X-Ray XT8, RC8T or a Jammin CRT X2 and then the D8T. In that order of preference.
X-Ray is a high dollar intial investment, but it pays for itself in the long run. The materials they use are second to none for durability, performance.... The drivetrain is sooo smooth on them it's ridiculous. It makes all other RC's feel like something that came from Wal-Mart!

the xray sounds pretty good then i think ill add that one to the list to check out. the internet is the only way i can reserch differnt brands . at the local track were i race if its not a losi or rc8 then they dont know anything about it.

I run an XT8 and let me tell ya.....I'm still learning my way around the track in a fast manner so I crash a LOT. I have yet to break anything on my XT8 except my body and a shock shaft. This thing is durable as HELL. I have had some nasty crashes too....big double to dead stop on a wooden plank....high speed cartwheels...upside down landings....straight smashes into plywood going at a good clip. I seriously have not had to replace anything except that darn shock shaft. That was an odd crash...but for $3.50? I can't complain!
Like Scrogg said..the driveline is sooooo smooth on this thing. I think I saw them for $499 as a kit somewhere off rctech's web site. One of the banner ads....so they are pretty cheap now. Some of the big shops still have them for over 6 bills though. GREAT investment, at least from my personal experience thus far.
I tossed a used LRP28R motor on it....and it is more Truggy than I know what to do with! Next thing I need is some good servos to really round it out. I'm running weak JR servos (not junk....just older weaker ones)
