SS rebuild complete

I finally finished with the teardown and rebuild of my SS. It has been sitting on my bench in pieces waiting for the 3-Speed tranny to be released for months. Got tired of waiting, so I put it back together today.

Here is a list of the new items installed:
•Maximizier Aluminum Diff Cups
•Sirio S27-R with Big Bore Pipe
•Nova Muli-Position Alum Shock Towers
•UE Alum Shock Standoffs
•UE 4 Shoe clutch with Alum Shoes
•Hardcore Racing Titanium Handle

I just need to adjust the linkage then its break-in time.

The 3-Speed installation will have to wait until my next teardown. That is if it ever gets released.

I like the shock towers I can't really see in your pics but is there more clearence
between the right iner rear shock and the header???

There does seem to be more clearance. There is about a 1/4" between the shock body and header

Cool thanks for the pic.. I just built a 4.6 and I don't like the clearence thats there Its going to were a hole in the header or were out the shock..

Were did you buy your towers from

I landed on my lid once and since the stock towers are plastic, it flexed and pushed the shock into my header. The result was a big gouge in my header and a bent bracket on the engine mounting plate. With the new towers, I doubt it will happen again.

I kept waiting for a used set on ebay to save some $$, but I got impatient and bought them from 2coolrc. You can alco get them direct from Nova.

Hey Zandor If you ask Bruce he can get em for you as well. I did. He can pretty much get all that I want. Its beautiful!
