Hey guys I'm in the middle of deciding on a new R/C but if i was goign to get an onroad what would be better?? RS4 EVO or RS4 SS?? Please Tell me good things and bad things about both. And which is faster even tho that really doesn't matter.

this kind of question has come up before all i can say is oo boy here we go again.

I have a RS4 SS and I love it!!:D
It is great because it comes with turn buckles and the 12R SS engine. The T-15 is HPI's new standard engine so I would guess the 12 is better. Either one you get you will love but you will definetly need new tires and foams.

if it has come up before why cudt u guys have answered?? I did do a search but nothing useful cam up. so yea. Thanks AC48

i have an evo w/ the t-15 and just because its the stock engine dont mean it wont haul ass on that .12 ...

:thankyou:

I wouldn't say either car is better than the other. The Evo accelerates quicker while the SS has a tiny bit more top end speed. Other than the motor, the only differences are the turnbuckles, motor mounts, and pullstarter that come with the SS kit.

I got my SS because I wanted to build the car myself and I wanted to use my own radio and servos. I hate those RTR radios with the stupid knobs. In the end, stock for stock, they're both great starter cars.

I didn't say the T-15 was bad...i bet it has more torque...I just haven't had any experince and it is their new stardard enigine.

Glad to help you out drkman07:cheers:

yea i think i might go with the ss so if something breaks i can pretty much locate where the prob is. Even tho i kno like every inch of my t-maxx and i didnt build it.
