ok well i havent used this thing in a while, like a month and i took it out today and the spur doesn't want to free spin. The slipper isnt too tight gear mesh is good the only thing i can thnk of it that i scuffed up my clutch shoes a lil with some emery cloth but the engine i revving that hight for the clutch shoes to be engaged. And also is it bad if the spur isnt free spinning??

Welcome to the spur gear club, It could be the bearing like thing in side the spur gear that the drive shaft thing goes through, you could have junk on it.

nah i dont think so cause it spins fine whn the egine is off

I dont really know to much about the transmission but something in there could be stuck. Sorry I couldnt help.

What do you mean by free spinning? When the clutch bell is engaged, does the spur move? When the clutch bell isn't engaged does the clutch bell and spur move under your finger's propulsion? Is this when the engine is on or off? Is this at idle or at WOT? There are a number of questions...

You may want to define this one a little more in order to get a better answer.

oh sorry i didn post back it works ok now i think it was the clutch shoes
