Need help on t-maxx 3.3 spur gear adjustment
Had to replace my spur gear and need help
Got the one with the two washers need to know how tight the nut
Is suppose to be

Just tight enough so you can barely turn it with your hand that should be good .

Thats a negative.

Tighten the nut as tight as you can get it and then back it off 1/8 of a turn.

thats a NEGATIVE

thats good to do if you have a spring ...he said it has 2 washers ...so randall is right ..tight it so you can barely turn the spur with your hands ...and this method is good for both setups ...

if it has 2 washers ,..your method will ruin them

Yeah, so tighten it down all the way. And back it off an 8th of a turn. You'll be ready to rock n roll.

wrong ....

he has the setup with 2 washers ....tightening it all the way down can ruin the washers ..if the washer get flatten to much , they wont do what they are supposed to do ...

the way you do it is good if you have the spring instead of the washers
