My Revo 2.5R has one tooth missing from the spur gear...I'm shopping spur gears and seeing a lot of diffrent tooth counts...I don't have my Revo with me right now to count the teeth...anyone know what the factory count is?...and also...what would going to a lower or higher count do?....if it would even mesh up....thanks

thats funny cause i dont even remember what was factory on my slayer either, if you go on traxxas.com and click on your model, and view downloads, parts lists, and exploded views all will be revealed to you, and changing spurs, changes gear ratios, its fun to experiment, i switch between 38, 39, and 40 tooth gears on my revo and slayer, and i play with different size clutch bellls also....

p.s also the manual tells what spurs, clutch bells, etc are factory, if you dont have one you can download that at traxxas.com also....

traxxas part#3954 standard is 38T

Thanks for the help........it's the 38t i need. Slayerbasher,(or anyone), if i had a diffrent count, could i still use my factory clutch bell? I can grasp the raito change aspect....I'm thinking about cb/sg tooth mesh.

Got it...I been on the traxxas site too.....just what i needed....thanks again.
