Can i bolt a Revo Spur Gear on a Maxx 3.3? Just wonderin cause i have quite a few cb's for the revo and wanted to play around with the maxx gearing but didnt want to buy more cb's to match the pitch.

Yep... You will be limited to what you can run due to the size (diameter) of the revo spurs and bells being a little smaller than the maxx spurs/bells and setting the mesh, unless you elongate the slots in the chassis to slide the engine/bell closer to the spur.

Thats a great point. Did not even think of the mesh at all. Probably just stick with what hes got i guess. I would be goin from a 58/20 to a 38/14 so even if the mesh would fit i have no idea how it would react.

58/20 is a 2.9:1 ratio
38/14 is a 2.71:1 ratio
2.71 being a little taller gear (higher top speed/less torque) but still very close to each other.
I use to know off hand which combinations would work but it’s been a while since I ran the revo spurs and bells on a Maxx with a stock chassis.

Thats cool but i guess it wouldnt really benefit him on our track anyhow bein a shorter track. I like to have as much power as i can comin out of the corner to the center jump. The Heavy Diff oil seemed to help quite a bit it seems, putting power to the ground a little more evenly when most of the mass is shifted to one side. But i seem to spin out a little more to. Dont know till u try i guess!! Thanks for ur imput, usefull as always!!
