I just got the Mayhem not too long ago.

I have a couple of questions..

The carb restrictors that it came with (3 sizes)....

The medium one was installed, and I broke the buggy in with this one.

Will putting the restrictor that allows the most air in change the idle speed??
Is is a dramatic change that I am going to have to start tuning all over again??

Do you have to have one of the restrictors in on this engine?

thanks,
adrian

You can use any of the 3 restrictors you want. Or none at all. Because it will alter the air/fuel mix, your idle may change a little. There's no doubt you'll have to retune the engine when you change them. They do make a big difference. I still run the medium because it works great for me, but I just bash for now. Just make sure you take the time to totally retune once you change restrictors.

I am running on Ofna .26, and have no idea about the ristrictors. Although I have noticed that temp. and airflow have a very drastic affect on the idle speed. if I leave my stinger blowback hose hooked up to the mill it will not start. I would just sugest a complete retune after every change...
