I just got my Sport Maxx and I have a few Q's
like when I run it for about 45 min to 1 hour the yellow protective tube that surrounds the fuel tube looks like it is kind of melted not much but alittel black is this normal or is the engine running hot.
And the manuel says that there should always be a stream of blue smoke but when the truck idles I see no smoke. but I see smoke when I hit the throttle.
my freind says that is normal is these true or is my engine running to lean.
and lastly when my truck idles it creeps forward is this what it should be doing or should I ajust the idle screw.
any help would be great and any tips for tunning waolud be awsome Thanks.

I don't know about the fuel tubing thing but the exhaust thing is fine... you won't see anything at idle but it should be noticeable when you hit the gas... as for the creeping... you probably just need to slow down the idle a tad.

If your running 45min to an hour your tuned pretty good, the idle does sound alittle high, you could try the radio throttle trim or adjust the idle screw.

The yellow protector on my max is black... it has never actually melted but one thing I would suggest is to give you engine a chance to cool off between runs. I am sure we all have run our trucks non-stop without rest but I always felt it was a good idea to give the engine a chance to cool before the next run. usually about 10 mins or less depending on how hot your engine is running. If you can afford an extra 30 bucks I would also suggest getting a temp gun. It makes tunning a lot easier and takes all the guess work out of wondering if your running too lean or not.
