I had a blaster for a long time. ENough power not to get bored, and perfect to learn on. Just about right dollar for doallr two.

A friend of mine had I think it was called the raptor. New fourstroke Just as much accel as the 2 stroke, and light as the blaster with electric start.. killer bike.

i have a 400ex and a 450r. the 450r has so much power. once the snow melts i post some action shots at the track.

not anymore. i used to race a 400ex w/ the 416 national kit in it...one too many accidents caused from another idiot on the track gave me two bad knees, one bad hip, and a bad lower back. after all that my health forced me back into rc. see? it wasn't a total loss.

banshee all the way

my 450r will take a stock banshee in any condition. this summer i raced a guy on a stock banshee and i was catwalking and he still couldn't keep up. but it also has a white brothers pipe and a 180 main jet.

34mm carbs, adjustable stater plate, Trinity longrod kit, ported & polished jugs & pistons, stock exhaust? I have been beat by other banshees and a couple YFZ 450s but no hondas?

have you raced anyone one oe the new 450r?

i can keep up with all the yfz's at the track on mine. they can take the corners faster than me cause those things can rail the corners but i can still keep up. right now i am saving up for tires all around, and a roll ddesign front end to make it two inches wider and a durablue axel. that should fix the cornering problem. right now i think that the yfz is the best stock machine, but i just love hondas.

You can't kill a honda, Ill give them that. Yes, I agree, the YFZ is bar none the best bike out. All the suspension is going to be nice on the track but do you trail ride? Or do crosscountry enduro? Those extra inches will jamm some wrist and break some thumbs! I have never raced a 450r, I know they are fast, I just gotta have my 2 stroke.

I've got 2 Ploaris Trailblazers. They're a blast...when they get run. I haven't run them in about 6 months now....there's nowhere close around here to go ride, so going to ride the 4wheelers is an all day event for us.
I can't wait until it snows :) .

Quick story for you.. I was out on the blaster.. at the time they were nice equiptment..a little underpowered but hey.. I'm no race.. so I go out to a trakc in Yelm Washington

It's apractice track plowed up by a local with a cat..

So I practice all day long, and there's this huge tabletop like off the wall guessing 30-50ft? with a 4 ft ramp on both sides.. Well I get this blaster to clear it and land pefect..

A guy and his girl drive up with brand new bikes and brand new gear in a brand new truck. I figure.. phht here's some yuppie's with a phat credit card.. So I whip around the track roosting and clearing doubles.. then right in front of them I clear this table top and I think I'm, just bad ass.

The chick starts her bike with one kick, hits the first double and does this friggin' mtn dew jump with a kick out.. her boyfriend follows suit and all I can do Is stand in awe..they put me in my place. watching these guys was like watching an all day dew comercial fun stuff..I wasn't soo cool after that heheh.

We did however later on end up buying a honda pilot all modified it that was a fun ride..

yeah, hondas will last forever i agree. i mainly ride the track and open trails so that is why i want to get the extra 2 inches. the only reason that i have waited so long if for the exact reasons that you stated. i love two strokes too but when i was younger i had a yz80 and couldn't get used to the powerband. it was just to unpredictable for me. loved to feel that power hit though. i guess i ride 4-strokes because of the ease of riding and the less maintenance as compaired to a two stroke.
