Spider Gear Chatter?

Okay, it seems like my front or rear axles spider gears are chattering on my SCX10 when the rig is off its wheels of upsidedown, what could be the prob? I am certain I built each axle correct and according to...?

It almost causes my entire drivetrain to chatter as if something isnt meshed up correct.

I'm going to start on the front axle, it seems like it is giving me the most force when I twist the outdrive shaft.

Wierd, the truck drives fine when its on all 4...

I remember that when I assembled my SCX-10, it didn't have spider gears in the diffs, but a cross shaped locker. It might be that you broke one of those.

Loose the spider gears and get a locker, I did not even realize that the SCX10 had spider gears, I thought they all came with lockers front and rear like the AX10, I think I might have a extra Iron Cross locker if you need it, but the one piece solid steel ones are really the way to go if you can find them.

I just looked at your build thread and you don't have any spider gears, just a ring and opinion gear with a iron cross locker, the stock ring and pinon gears are pretty cheap, you might think about upgrading to the machined gears, or even the under or overdrive machined gears. It will turn and climb better if the front axle is spinning a little faster then the rear and help reduce torque twist that much more.
