Anyone used this?

I love the idea of the telemetry. To be able to monitor so much from the transmitter must be great.

I'm looking for anyone with experience of it as I wouldn't mind using it with my T-Maxx 4909.

Cheers all!

Adam

Telemetry is great, while you're tuning. The temp gauge isn't very accurate, the speed meter usually gets broken quickly...but the voltage meter is mighty handy. That's the only one I ever used. The others are hard to read while you're trying to drive or race ;-)

Personally, for me it's more of a gimmick than anything else, but it all does semi work for awhile. I run the DX3R instead of the S now. The faster poll speed is better for me.

I have it, and its great. I love the 10 model memory so I can use it with all my trucks. the telemetry, like MotoGod said really isnt useful besides the voltage meter. Thats all I use. The temp meter is a good 15-20 degrees off from my temp gun, and the speed meter broke on mine within a few weeks. And while ur driving, and racing you dont ever look at the screen. Down the road, i want to pick up a Futaba 4PKS for the different functions, but for now the DX3S is definitely a great radio!

Oh yeah, and while the telemetry isn't all that great, the radio IS a very nice radio. I got hung up on the telemetry and forgot to mention that ;-)
