so i had a good weekend, some real nice bashing yesterday, some good deals on some Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson collectable cars, speeders, etc.
So has anyone ever heard of the speeders? (track inspection cars, motorcars)

one of my uncle's cars is the orange one on a bridge 5-10 pics in on the home page that says Blue Ridge GA, 2007.
My family first got into them about 8-9 years ago while becoming volunteers on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway right here in north GA. We started out with one single small car, and now we have 5 throughout the family. They're a ton of fun. Relaxing and one of those things to just sit back and enjoy. There's also nothing quite like getting to play with trains all the time. These things just started out as track inspection cars WAY back in the day (mostly 30's-50's) before the highrails (trucks with train wheels) came in. They have become a pretty big hobby for people over the last 10 years or so. Its my second hobby, after RC of course. I just got thinking about some people's reactions today when we went across crossings and wondered if any of you had ever seen these.
