I recently bought aluminum a-arms for my newer Maxx. They were out of the box for less than an hour before I stripped the threads in the pivot ball stud cinch at the end of the a-arm.

It seems that the torque range between the point that the ball stud is firmly anchored and the point at which the threads pop is extremely narrow.

I ditched the enclosed cap screws and replaced them with longer ones and a locknut. I'm using MIP cvd's and there won't seem to be a clearance problem. I'm not sure if the stock axles would rub the head of the cap screw or not.
