I have a T-Maxx 3.3 that is broke in and has a couple of hours on it. I already have two pads missing on the slipper clutch and have a replacement and spare. The guy at the local RC shop said that it was adjusted to loose from the factory. I didn't know to check it. Now I do. What other parts would be good to have on hand? I know these thing will break parts. I just want to know what the common parts needed are. This truck is a load of fun.

Aluminum bulkheads and lower chassis braces, big bore aluminum shocks, RPM true track for the rear and RPM a arms for the front. Some would say aluminum shock towers but I personally disagree with that because you want a failure point somewhere.

If your running stock a arms, some of those. (would however recommend RPM arms), bulkheads (should go aluminum though) and of course glow plugs. At first I kept replacing stock parts with stock until I realized it wasn't cost effective. 3 sets of stock arms = RPM which will virtually last forever.

Yup, everything here would be a good start. Also, spur gears and the friction pegs that go inside of the spur.

You can still have aluminum towers and have the body posts plastic for the failure point.

I plan on getting some aluminum pieces before to long. Right now I am still learning how to drive this thing. When i got the replacement slipper clutch parts, I also picked up a set of clutch shoes with a spring and a one way bearing. I forgot all about the glow plugs. Now to just get time to fix the slipper clutch.

get a bunch of glow plugs !!! where i live we have no LHS within 2 hours, i ordered 2 plugs online thinking that would last me a long time....(ha,ha,ha) toasted them both in one day and had to wait for more to come in the mail !!!! buy them in bulk !!! you will need them. plus some plugs will last for a long time than you go through 3 in 2 tanks !
