Hey guys, is there any parts that breaks more often than others ? i'm looking to build up a spare kit that i'll keep near me when i run my truck ! for now i just found out i needed a ez-start lead wire ... is melted on my engine, does it happens often ?

Here's a few things I keep in my field box:

1. Assorted screws and nuts. Get the black oxide kind, not the stainless steel.
The Ss screw heads are soft and easily stripped.
This is the kit I recommend,

You can create your own screw kit from your local
hardware store, or ebay sells kits for cheap.
2. Glow plugs
3. A back up of fully charged batteries, especially EZ Start wand batteries.
4. Zipties and body clips
5. Hex wrenches, small standard and Phillips head screw drivers,
glow plug wrench, assorted nut drivers, needle nose pliers,
6. I find a glowplug ignitor to be much less problematic than the Blue wire.
Its a good back up to have.
7. fuel tubing
8. temp gun
9. duct tape
10. compressed canned air

Things I most frequently damage or break:
Traxxas plastic bulk heads and control arms
Traxxas steering servos, hinge pins,
turnbuckles and tie rods..
These are all items you should consider upgrading if you're continually breaking them.

EZ Start wires don't melt I have never melted my EZ Start wires on my MAXX

parts

all so get ALL the parts on front of the truck. NO ONE avoids front end crashes.

Aluminum parts are well worth it if used in the right areas.
Typically on bashers, I use aluminum bulkheads, chassis braces, shock towers,
aluminum big bore shocks and steering servo skid plate. That's it.
Great Assembly, Fast Lane Machine, ACNCM are all good choices for bulkheads,
Unlimited Engineering Fast Lane Machine or ACNCM for shock towers
FLM or Traxxas chassis braces (If you have a 4910 model)
Traxxas Big Bore or UE Racer X aluminum shocks
RC Raven servo skid plate
Although I've never tried them, I've heard Golden Horizons makes some
decent aluminum products.
AVOID INTEGY ALUMINUM PRODUCTS UNLESS YOU'RE BUILDING A SHELF QUEEN
