Curt Shilling was traded from the AZ Diamondbacks to Boston a couple days ago. He was talking to the Yanks, but fortunately for the rest of the baseball world, he went to Boston. Go Sox!

Of course he has slipped from his peak in 01, but he and Pedro will kick butt.

I am sooooooo glad he didn't go to the Yankees. Curt Shilling is one of my favorite pitchers.

The Yanks are picking up Gary Sheffield from Atlanta to firm up their outfield and another big bat at the plate.

who cares about sheffield, that guy has been a cancer on every team he has played for. the guy is no winner.

I'm from NJ and i HATE the yankees. Personally I'm an orioles fan so I've had to resort to rooting against the yankees since '97.

How is Boston going to be able to comptete against the Yanks without the same hitting power. Have u looked at the Yanks lineup? As far as pitching goes the Yanks improved their bullpen and will pick-up either Vazquez or Colon. Boston will have hitting problems if all the rumors are true. Supposely Nomar is going to L.A and Manny in a trade for A-rod. Losing 2 very good hitters for one! Not profitable.
