So whats next for Traxxas

Maybe they should design a cool buggy..

They have this thread on the Traxxas site and all everyone says is"they just brought out the Revo,what do you want?" I would love to see them bring out a 1/8 scale buggy. I would see that as doable,and they need to bring out a 1/18 scale as well as a big block?

traxxas tried to go "racing" years ago with the TRX-1 and TRX-3. it didnt work. id say they go 1/18 scale before you see anything big block from them. they already have the technology to build a small car, but they would have to design a big block, and rethink how they build drivelines to hold up to one.

It seems like everyone is making a 1/18 now, so Traxxas would probably jump into that market next.

I'm with RamTech on this one.
They have spent a huge amount of money developing the REVO. Looking at the way they have operated in the past, I see them concentrating on selling as many of the damn things as they can to recoup their investment.

MTs are the hottest segment of the RC market right now. Yes 1/8th is hot as well but Traxxas doesn't have a .21 in production at this point.

I'm sure the R&D department isn't just sitting around. Hopefully they are planing something new down the road but it would surprise me to see any announcements in the near future.

They finally did something right with the REVO and its time for them to reap the rewards.

LOL,Traxxas only does RTR. I would not look for a kit from them anytime soon,even though it would be nice. I would think 1/18th would be the next thing,since EVERYONE else is coming out with one.

I say if they do anything soon it will be to revamp the 4-TEC. You know fix a weak link or two (if it has any since I have no idea) and most of all put the 2.5R in it.
