Don't forget NA. He is also racing this year.

Jake is one of this years sponsors.
Check this out:
He gets there on Monday and everything he shipped UPS was at the hotel awaiting his arrival. He shipped a lot of stuff for the race and his manufacturers booth. Everything showed up except.......................... His car.

UPS lost his dialed in oval race car. Go figure.

Holy crap. Is there anything he can do to get some kind of compensation??

I'm sure the cost is the last thing on his mind. My guess is that UPS can't refund the price he may have to pay in having to build and dial in a brand new car.

That blows big time. UPS is usually pretty reliable too. I assume he tracked it to make sure it did not show up then grow legs at the hotel.

When I raced at the Snowbirds last I loaded all my stuff in a big case and checked it and put two chassis in my carry on. I've done the shipping deal in the past also, until the same deal happened to a friend, UPS delivered the package two days after we were back home.....

They don't accept cars with dials.:trout:

Anyway, he could build another kit in a few hours and be ready to go.

I ship RC all the time through the USPS also, it was a joke.

He dialed a pan car from 3000 miles away to race on a brand new carpet. :hi:

Go Jake! He was really sick last year, this year he is healthy. Time to smoke em good luck!:winnar:

What classes were they running? I didn't see them listed in the final qualifying order.

He didn't seem to qualify to well in
4 Cell Expert 19 48 of 61.
48 Jake Rosen 51/4:01.97 | >53/4:00.83 24.6

4 Cell Pro Mod 50 of 57
50 David Wert >51/4:01.55 | 14/1:19.61 23.6

Must be having some issues. The final numbers aren't posted yet so I have no idea how they did over all. I would guess they were in the C,D, or E main.

2 years ago they went to 8 car mains so alittle lower then that, that sucks. I was on the bubble for 1/10 6 cell stock 2 years ago and got bumped to 12th after the 3rd round. :censored: I was alittle upset.....:D
