I found that mine was broken yesterday and i am just looking for ideas as to how it could have happened. the little piece right after where the slug sits was completely sheared off. What gives?
 
I did the same thing too, I think mine was caused by too much travel in the brakes, so I made a new brass piston that was longer to give me better reaction time with less travel.
 
that sounds like a good idea.

i might have to get a new slug machined and make it a hair longer
