I got a electric rustler with an lrc speed control, when i turn it on it takes off, when i pull the throttle it stops. Whats the deal? Also the battery went up in smoke!! Any advice would help. thanx

I'm not sure on irc but alot of the speed controls need to be set, programed they have a button on the esc to push you need the instructions on how to set it,my brother in law had the same prob. and he read the instr. and now its fine

lrc? do you mean LRP? i dunno what kinda speed control you have but i sounds like its a mechanical control with the servo reversed. if it is mechanical and your tx has servo reverseing than swithch it. if it doesn't have servo reverseing then you will have to flip the servo. if it is a elecronic esc then it has been programmed wrong and just needs to be reprogrammed. i hope this has helped, but if not provide more information and be more specific. it will make this easier. also double check polarity going from the speed control to the rx, the batery to the speed control, and the speed control to the motor. make sure its all correct.
