SMaxx for racing?

Has anybody ever raced an SMaxx? If so, what mods should be made?

A fellow Canadian, eh? Tell me if I'm wrong, but the Stadium maxx is 2 WD, but you can put in 4WD. I don't know the classes as this will be my first time racing. Maybe you could explain my options? Thanks man.
