First, lower the throttle trim. If that doesn't slow it down, then go to the idle set screw and turn it out 1/4 turn, keep doing that until it slows down. (usually turning it to the left turns it out)

More than likely your throttle linkage is stuck open. Without starting the car, work the radio and make sure everything is moving properly BEFORE you start it. If it runs wide open like that, you can throw a rod.
Look into the carb neck and make sure it moves when you trigger the throttle, and make sure it almost closes with no throttle. Make sure it doesn't close any more when you hit the brake.
