Slipstream body on a nitro Revo 2.5?

Anyone put this body on a Nitro Revo 2.5?

I need a new one and I think this is the best looking choice out there. I know it will need some modification, but just wondering if there was a reason it will not work.

Also does it come with a wing, or would I need to purchase it separately?

i think the body would be too long for the 2.5 revo, now on a 3.3 it would prolly work and you would need to cut out a hole for the engine, ez-start plug, and gas tank but it should work, and no i do not believe it comes with the wing you would need to buy the wing mount and wing

How much shorter is a 2.5 than a 3.3?

i'm not sure of the exact size but its short enough that a 3.3 body won't fit and the e-revo and 3.3 are about the same length and the slipstream body is for an e-revo

that body may sit to low for a nitro revo. your engine is going to stick way out of the truck and the body will not sit down low enough since your roll bar will be in the way.

plus it may hit the gas tank, throttle servo, exhaust, or any other large parts that arent on the electric revo.

it may work, but you would probably have to hack it all up to get it to fit.
