I bought the slipper upgrade for my tmaxx. I just broke in my new 3.3. And ate the factory slipper pegs. The pads definatly work better. I hafta be careful or ill be on my lid AGAIN.
totally worth $25.

Is the upgrade clutch that much better? I was thinking about buying it for my t maxx but the slipper pegs seem to be ok on my truck, I mean when I hit the throttle it wheelspins then takes off on the road or grass plus will still pull wheelies if road is dry

Deffinetely is an upgrade over the peg style

transmited from a mobile communications device

whats the part number for this upgrade as I am going to buy a new one. the one I found on TH claims is for the 1st gen tmaxx?

If you have got the first gen t maxx with the black tranny and friction pegs the upgrade kit number is 5351x if you have the newer style clutch with 3 slipper pads you will need a rebuild kit the part number for that is 5352x and there is a heavy duty rebuild kit 5352r

Thanks basher for clearing that up for me as I own the newest version.

i just got my slipper upgrade kit in the mail today !!!! can't wait to get rid of the pegs !!!
