Yesterday I went over to the school field to see how fast I could get my T-Maxx going and after about 6 or 7 hi speed passes it just stopped moving and the engine would just rev. After taking the body off I discovered that 2 of the 3 clutch pads where gone. What caused it to happen and how can i prevent it from happening again?

Are you sure your aren't referring to the slipper pads on the spur gear?

You would not be able to see the clutch shoes simply by removing the body. You would have to remove the clutch bell.

Well running the trucks in grass is very stressful on the drivetrain (especially in this thick St Augustine crap we got here in Florida) so if your slipper was loose on-road the effects would only be magnified in the grass. Just a thought :)

I went ahead and revised the thread title.
