So I finished break-in, and realized that the slipper nut was so loose that it was about to fall off and the spur gear was wobbling back and forth:spit:! I had to take the rpm skid, and the engine, and the tank to get to the slipper nut:OMG: No, it wasn't that much of a pain:LoL: but I dont want to do it that often. I've heard that thread lock will hold it fine, and all I have is blue thread lock, so I coated the threads on the shaft, nut, and spring.

If this doesn't hold, how else can I get it to stay on, but still keeping the slipping action?

Thanks everyone:)

Replace those nuts, once they start to back off on their own they never quit. Red loc-tite would be better.

Ok. Does anyone know what size nut it is? Should I get one with, or without the "nyloc" insert, (assuming that I will be using either red or blue loctite)?
