Ok yesterday i was running my 2.5R revo on a high speed run and the throttle servo gives out and the truck goes full speed into a curb, trees, bushes, and finally a building. When i got my truck it was smoking from running full speed into a building for about 10 seconds. The slipper was completely gone when i got it along with the plastic exhaust tube. I don't know if it was the collision or the engine running full speed but not going anywhere that destroyed the slipper. I'm about 2 hrs from the nearest LHS and i want to run my truck today. Can any material be substituted for the slipper pads. Lowe's is 2 minutes away :).

Also how do you take the turnbuckles off? The screws seem to be in a place i cannot get to with out taking the truck completely apart.

Thanks!

If your going to use the same ends take the screw out of the end by the tire then you can unscrew the turnbuckle from the other end without having to remove the end cap then rescrew the new one in dont know about any other material you could use looks like a road trip
