Slight Problem

So i am re-doing a savage 25 for a friend, and i have taken apart the engine to be cleaned and sealed. I have a little problem with the carb though. It goes back in perfectly, but for some reason i can't get the carb to stay in place. It will slide back and forth and come right out with the bolt tightened down all the way. Anyone have any ideas?

Wrap some teflon tape around the throat. A couple wraps should do the trick.

So can Teflon tape be used to seal the Carb? I am getting ready to seal my engine and was just curious.
