I'm painting up Prolines new Rat Rod body #341000 for my BigBlock SlayerPro Picco .28
all the power makes it extremly hard to hook up in the dirt..
So I'm makin a street rod out of it...

These are Ofna 1/8 oval sprint car tires on a buggy rim..
I like the wide rear tires..for the hot rod look..
i have two more different sets of tire/rim combos for this build..:)

In true rat-rod fashion are you going rear wheel drive?

Wonder if it'll fit a savage xs?

I could make it rear wheel drive, it would put more power to rear wheels not having to turn all the front shafts and diff....
 
How about a set of XO-1 tires, and Plymouth prowler body if someone makes......sorry Ckeithnitro, just wondering is all.

I think the XO-1 shoes would be too "modern" looking for this setup.

It looks great, need to find something with a tall sidewall for the rear....that would be real "hot rod" looking. What are the specs of the Ofna tires? Do you think the Traxxas Funny Car rear tires would work? Maybe you could put a whitewall on them. They would probably have to be more for "show though, they're only 12mm hex.
 
Ya I though about that too. He does have a ERCM picco on it with a pipe to match, I've seen it run on YouTube it's freakin insane with power!, that's really the only reason I said XO-1 tires, on the count of them being corded and all!

taller and nice and fat for the rear..:)
 
Its all about the white walls. I betcha you could mask them up and spray them with white plasti-dip.
