I'm slowly but surely working a reverse kit into my Slayer. I wanted to keep the side nerf bars, but the left electronic box doesn't allow for that... yet. I'm working on modifying both the box and nerf bar so that they'll work. So far I've melted a hole in the side of the box to allow the bar to reach the screw hole. Now my problem is that the hole is offset and the bar hits the post that the shifting servo attaches to. I think I'm going to just cut part of the end of the bar so it'll still attach from the bottom, but not necessarily from the top. The only other option I see is to widen the screw hole so that the screw will still go through something of the bar. Any suggestions?

I would suggest to just buy a revo 3.3 5309 gearbox so it comes pre set up for the reverse kit.
