  1. Bashing
Was just wondering what is the best clutch for a slayer 3.3. It isn't the pro addition. I use it for bashing mostly on all type of surfaces.

going to replace the clutch bell and slipper clutch. Thanks for the weight on shock oil. I was looking at the shocks on ebay they had lbs strength on them.

How many teeth are you running on your gears?

Was what it ended up being was the slipper clutch. I'm going to go ahead and order me a new one sometime this week. Will prolly order a clutch to and shocks a arms.

Was also wondering if they made a better air filter for the slayer & a better pipe? Has a traxxas resonator on it now.

I use the Motor Saver air filter for the Revo. You can look into pipes for the Revo also. I think the majority like the a THS pipe, I can't remember which, and the Dynamite 053.

alright thanks. Did you ever have a chance to get your shock lbs? I seen some on ebay was 19lbs. Think that'd be to much?

I went out and tried to run the rest of the gas outa the truck but was wanting to take off when I was starting it. Think I'm just going to order me some new clutches try that. Are you still running same teeth on your gears? Was wanting to get new ones these are a little chewed up but didnt know what teeth to get? Would just be for bashing not racing but would still like to get some decent speed outa it.

I haven't had time to take my truck out in a while. I have to take the shocks out to get the colors because I have little spandex covers for them to keep dirt and such out.

I run a 16t cb and a 38 spur. Decent acceleration and improved top speed. I can beat a jato off the line, but he cathes me about 3 feet later, lol

If it's wanting to move at an idle, the clutch in the clutch bell has either broken the spring, or broken the shoes

Well I sealed up my motor yesterday again. I could see where was leaking a little on back plate and around the carb. So I did that yesterday. Few more hours and it'll be ready to try. Just hope I can get a good start and idle out of it once I get it tuned.
