Skyion Remote troubles

I recently bought a Skyion DX-Pro 3ch Remote and Receiver. I Installed the receiver in my RS4. It works Great. Now, the issue I am having is that the remote will not work with any of my other receivers. I have two trucks that even with the same crystals it still will not do anything. Why is that?

I have other remotes taht will work with mich match receivers. But with this I can not get it to work. Any info would be great.

Some radios are not compatible with each other. Remember that everything has to be like the same brand. The receivers all have to be Skyion and the transmitter also has to be Skyion with the same brand (Skyion) crystals.

I figured as long as u use the smae crystal it will work. I have a Traxxas remote working on and futaba receiver.

Also I am having troubles finding 27mhz receivers.

There are some receivers out there that are not compatible with other brands. I know Futaba is compatible with most, and I think Losi DSM receivers are compatible with Spektrum. I may be wrong, but Skyion isn't a type of brand that you can find on high-quality websites or LHS's. Brands well known like Airtronics, Futaba, Spektrum, etc. are well known and that's probably why most of them are compatible.

You also want to make sure that your receivers are also 27mhz the same as your transmitter.

Not so, me amigo. As long as you're on the same band and modulation, you should be alright. Check to make sure they're both AM or FM, and not a mix of the two. Also, check the frequency, and make sure it matches (example, both are 27.045).

I have checked both to see it 27mhz and they are. Also I check many diff. crystals and still nothing. I have made sure they match. I just for some reason can not get them to work. One is a traxxas receiver and one is the futaba. Neither will work. Both will work with a Traxxas remote but not the skyion one.

Why do u say AM I thought the traxxas and Futaba were RF. The Skyion remote is RF 27mhz

OH I just checked the futaba is AM Thats what it is the remote is RF. Ok I think I figured it out. Sucks I dont think I can get that changed.
