what are some good AL skid plates, i want some thath are better then teh plastic ones, and I keep bugging the RPM Answer Man about making skids for the savage but I get the same old, (Well the savage is such a durable truck we feel it does not need our attention now) I dont need a center just a back and front

I am not positive, but heres a list of companies that u can search through, i do believe they all make skids.

On skids, i dont think u can go wrong with any brand, all about the same strength, just what style or look u like

I know that there are a few more out there, brain fart

well DA on ebay makes some nice damn skids. i got the f/r skide bottom and gas tank guard for about $48 shipped. you can catch for about $35 shipped. they are really nice, althoug i do suggest getting the bottom skid and gas tank gaurd the most. the alum. f/r skids will bend the very first intstant you jump wronfg or hit something. you'll be ebning them back in shape every time you run your ride. i went back to the normal plastic ones. i have some red aluiminum f/r skids i may sell ya. let me know if your interested. get the bottom skid. it does protect the tranny.

Save your money on the skids, IMO they are not necessary for the Savage. The plastic skids are much less expensive to replace if they do get scratched up.

yo soupercharge, that guy DA on ebay had some truckzilla gas gaurds and skids. i dont use the f/r skid plates. plastic is much better for play time. alum is cool for shelf queen season. dont get the perforated skids casue rocks, and sticks get caught in the holes. i wish i had got the solid ones, but i sacrificed weight.
gas and tranny plate is all ya need.

i swaer after about a week of of f/r alum skids they were off the truck and i was dremeling my plastics ones to fit and they work wonder. i think i pulled the alum ones off about 20x and bent them back straight in one week i dealt with them on there.
