I just started having some troubles with my Sirio .18, the problem I'm having is it is way bogged down when I hit the gas, and slowly creeps to speed, then shifts into second and handles ok. I have the HSN 6 1/2 - 7 turns out and low speed at 2 1/2. It was running ok, but I have recently added more aluminum and changed the clutch bell. I have just about every peice Hardcare Racing makes, the UE Suspension, & all Robinson Racing gears. I am also running the Sirio Big Bore pipe with a motor saver air filter, Robinson Racing 72t metal Spur & a 22t Clutch Bell, just running it with street tires on a flat surface, it hit 314 degrees after 3 or 4 passes on the street. I instantly killed it, popped the glow plug out and moved the piston all the way down to let it vent / cool, but I'm not sure why it's bogging down & over heating... any ideas?

Additional Info, if needed:
I have about 1 gallon of Trinity 20% Monter fuel through it.

I had no problems until I added the following:
Hardcore Racing Aluminum Chassis Braces
Hardcore Racing Aluminum Clutch Shoes
Hardcore Racing Titanium Pillow Balls
Hardcore Racing Knuckle Caps
Hardcore Racing Alluminum Receiver Case
Hardcore Racing Alluminum Servo Mount
Hardcore Racing Alluminum Tranny Case
Robinson Racing Steel Topshaft
Robinson Racing Vented Flywheel
MIP Center Drive Shafts
22t Clutch Bell

This may have added some additional weight, but nothing that I could imagine would cause it to bog down as much as it is... thanks again.

sounds like you may have a air leak do these things

1. replace your fuel lines

2.make sure you back plate is tight

3. make sure your carb is tight

4. you might want to try and seal your backplate and carb

It looks like I have multiple problems... I found the air leak, it was coming from the back of the engine where the header connects to it... I replaced a o-ring there, and now the temperature stays consistant at about 225 - 240, but now it won't shift. I turned my shift point all the way in (which I think means it would just start in second), then took it all the way out (which I think means it would start in first), but no matter what, it seems like it's in second gear at all times, and accelerates really slow and never shifts... I'm beginning to hate my truck...

if you found your airleak and have the temps back within a reasonable range, lean it out. the most recent versions of the Sirio .18 carb are supposed to be set between 6 and 5.5 turns out on the HSN, if i'm not mistaken. that would be why you're not shifting.
