HELLO from Cork in IRELAND.Can anyone help me? ?
I NEED BASE SETTING for a SIRIO tx.18 nitro engine.
I've stipped & rebuilt my engine, for a good clean ,you can clean your truck/car in the dishwaher, just take your airfillter/reciver/battery box out . This will clean your R/C up a treat.( But don't let your Mrs now.) and reseal as it was leaking at the back end) But I cann,t find my manual for it. So I,m stuck. No base settings, for when I rebuild the carb.

I found my manual for my SIRIO .18 tx engine,but there is NO base settings in it. Just a parts list and order codes. But I do have an address in ITALY for them .

SIRIO .18 tx DEFAULT SETTINGS
HSN 5.5 turns out from fully in .
LSN 2.5 turns out or Flush with throttle arm .

Sirio 18TX

Hi There,
This is my first post on any forum, so please bear with me. I have been reading your thread about Sirio TX 18 engines; I currently run one and want to replace the Con-rod. PS - I do know the engine is a discontinued model now.
Does anyone know if / where I can get a replacement conrod; OR for that matter, if there is another 18 engine out there, which would make a perfect donor (i.e. identical dimentions etc)?

i too have the sirio tx motor. I'm having problems, motor does not suck in fuel so engine cuts out . can get engine to prime fuel tank. i am also looking for the the bent header pipe that is used for the tmaxx. here is a site that i found the parts for the sirio.

Hi there,
Thanks for the website, I shall give it a go and see what I can turn up. I did get a local model shop to contact Kyosho France for me, they reckon they can get one but I have to pay £35 in advance and they aren't able to tell me how long it will take (could be months) as Sirio are on the "Go-Slow" at the moment.
Regards to your fuel problem, try new lines as they do clog up with old fuel and either need cleaning out, or more likely replacing - they do lose efficiency. To see if this in the problem, take the line off and put it on the kitchen worktop and roll a rolling pin over it (or something similar) pressing down really hard. If the lines are partially blocked, you will see loads of thick (castor) oil ooze out of the end.
