Has anyone had any experience with removing the restrictor? I head a rumor about a power increase......

Once removed you will need to re-tune.
Yes you will get more power.
HumboldtBlazer has this mill and will be able to better answer your question.

Thank you!...........by the way I'm very impressed with the with the latest pics of the maxx that you have built.

I pulled out the restrictor and re-tuned a bit and couldn't SEE any differences in the performance. Obviously, it makes sense: more air + more fuel = more power, but I couldn't tell a difference by sound, sight, or feel.
I've heard that the restrictor is actually there to improve the performance by smoothing out the air flow going into the engine..... who knows hahaha play with it and see what you can make out of it all!

I removed the restrictor, retuned........I found a minor noticeable difference. I'll work with it a little more.
