Anybody know of any starting options for the Sirio .27pro other than a bump box???
 
Hey wait a second! My budy has this engine, and he uses a pull start. So, you do have another option. I know your thinking he must have to pull real hard to get the compression turned over. No, in fact he had me start it one day for him, and it was'nt that bad at all. Just my .02

No other options without modding or replacing the crank of the pro model. The pro model was designed for starter boxes only. If you own the S or the R model then it would have come with a pull start. I own the s27pro.
 
StretchM - I'm sorry dude but I can't understand what your talking about. It depends on what "trim" model you get but I'm sure it can be mod'd without high expense or labor to use any starting system on the market. I'm looking @ the .27 PRO NIB with pullstart. If I kept it I'd run a "roto-start" for at least the first gallon as Breaking in big-bores with a pull start can be a phucking bitch.

FYI....Many people whom I've talked to running the .27 in various Trucks aren't impressed with the low end. I haven't seen any dyno charts on it yet though to c the power curve. They all say that it's screams like a phucking banshee on the top-end and mid power is excellent. Sirio is know for making engines with a serious emphasis on top end power. This might be a great engine for my soon to be drag race maxx but I think I'm just gonna sell it on Flea bay and get a Picco .26 mod'd...we'll c.

NB, there are 3 models of the .27.
PRO is a non pull start.
R and S are pull starts.
Mod the crank or replace it on the pro model if you want to use something other than a starter box.
Post some pics of what you have, I'm sure that we would all like to see what you are working on.

Hey stretch. How ya doin man? Yes, I relaize that....thus why I said the "trim" level (LOL..like a new car). Right now I just have a new Sirio .27 pro. Maybe I'll just have EBmods mod the Sirio .27..lol. If I can't keep the power on the ground it's all a moot point though...eh. I've driven the Picco .26 done by the above mentioned and it was just sick fast. I wonder how long it's going to last though??

NO and sorry for any possible confusion...lol. I wonder if the lower port version has more low and mid-range power.
