Stretch.....sounds sweet dude. I did end up getting a .27 Pro and sold it to my buddy. He loves the freaking engine. Hell, he wants to get it mod'd for more power...lol. He's a speed freak, but aren't we all. You truggy should be kicking ass with that engine.

Hope this thread is still active.

I just bought the Sirio S27r based on what others have said. I have not installed it yet but will be shortly. I have heard rumors that it is a picky engine to tune and keep running strong, is this true? Has anyone tried it in a Monster GT, if so what gearing?

I have the Sirio .27r in my t-maxx. I have yet to run it because it was too long for my application, so i went to a new mount. I went through about 2 tanks heat cycling, and it went fairly well. The first start up was the hardest for me, because it was way to rich to start, then it kept dying. I will have her running again in about a week.

I had one in a mutant maxx as well and I thought for what I was doing then it was just stupid fast...Literally I had a hard time keeping it under control...I sold it and got a Fantom .27 I think I'll be going back to another Sirio When I go through this mill...It is a ridiculous fast mill and it will blow you away when you see it flat out haul some ass...I would pull buggies on the straightsw/ my mutant...and I mean real bad ass Mugens and 777s....I can't speak enough on how unreal that mill is over other BB I tried...

I just installed the 27R in my Savage. Just need to break it in when I get the time.

On Hi-end BB's, I can say this. You will see a HUGE difference in power and performance. The responce when the carb is opened is incredible! My Savage wheelies violently @ 25-30 mph,Doing backflips and constantly does it shifting into second gear if I'm not careful. I'm runing a Novarossi .28,8port. The biggest draw back to the Sirio or Nova, or any other imported hi-end motors are parts. I had to wait two weeks for my "one-way" bearing, but it only cost me $16.00. I'm told the Sirio One way costs $30.00, ouch! But it's well worth the money IMO.
You get what you pay for!

I have a question about tuning. I have a sirio .27r and i am in the process of breaking it in. The top end is pretty nice... good smoke and temps, but the low end is boggy with lots of smoke and some raw fuel. Is there supposed to be smoke comming out when idling? I know the low end isnt tuned yet, because my idle gap is still about 2-3 times the size of a credit card. Help?
