Ok I just got the Sirio 23 and am noticing the stock flywheel sticks out too far. I am using the collet that comes with the Sirio. Should I be using the collet from the 2. 5 od get a different collet?

I also read in RC NITRO that I need to adjust the throttle linkage or I will be left with only half throttle that I can use.

Here is what I did.

I am using a pullstart instead of the EZ Start I am using a MC9 plug. I may use the included turbo button but I may not for a while.

Please help me out!!

Jon

from experience use an mc8 plug and yes you must use the 2.5 collet, and the turbo plug won't make much difference unless you are a serious racer, if you use the turbo button you must use a turbo plug! I read about the throttle adjustment and I believe its because of the larger engine!

OK I just finished the installation and I was able to use the collet supplied but I seem to have rubbing on the flywheel and clutchbell. Gotta get that figured out ASAP. Hopefully the weahter is good so I can break her in tomoorrow!

what has everyone found for prices on that motor i am interested in one??
Rushrc, a site sponsor has them for $285 and that's about as cheap as they get...he also takes trades so you can trade your unwanted stuff and lower the price.

UPDATE!!. I have ran three break in tanks so far but ran out of time. The settings that they give you on the box are set WAYYYY RICH. I am using a MC9 Plug and the LSN is set to 5 & 1/4 out and the HSN is 7 turns out.Damn that is rich. But at the end of the third tank it actually wheelied that rich. WOW. Also I am running only 20% no more. I love this engine.

I will actually take pics of this on the next run. Maybe even video tape it. It was rather boring as I was just going back and forth on the parking lot and doing figure eights. I will be putting on a raven cage like back on. but I would rather find a RC-Solutions cage to put on. I like the protection it gave my MGT so I am sold on having one for the Siro23 Maxx. OOOO YEAH. I am using my crappy Stock ofna PCR 21 pipe as I don't have one to use. I am probably going to get the Sirio Big Bore pipe. WHo know as of now though.

Nope I have the maxx. I like that truck still. And the Sirio 23 works great in it. I can't wait to start tuning for speed. Its really tough as it barely moves with its current settings. After it warms up it livens up but I am patient so I will keep it down till I am done with break in. You should get one Blazer. It will wake up the true capabilities of that Revo you have. I think tomorrow I will try to run another three tanks of break in.

We will see if I have time. If not then the weekend will be a long way to go!
LOL

I will keep all updated on my progress.with pics as well.

Hi man! I am glad you are so excited about that motor I will be getting one too as soon as the orders slow down a pit for em.

Enjoy!
